Inauguration of Advanced Robotics Lab at RDG Public School, Akola
A state-of-the-art Robotics Lab has been established at RDG Public School, Akola in collaboration with Vidyasagar Academy, renowned in Maharashtra for providing advanced training in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The lab was inaugurated at the hands of Hon. Member of Parliament Shri Anup Dhotre, who expressed his satisfaction and appreciation for this significant initiative aimed at empowering the students of the school with cutting-edge technological skills.
The primary objective of this lab is to provide students with modern, systematic education through hands-on demonstrations of advanced technologies. Every student of RDG Public School, Akola will have access to this facility, enabling them to develop practical skills in basic and advanced robotics.
Training in the lab will be conducted under the expert guidance of International Robotic Trainer Prof. Yash Vidyasagar and Founder of Vidyasagar Academy Prof. Dattaraj Vidyasagar. The focus will be on imparting knowledge through complete practical demonstrations, ensuring that students gain real-world insights into robotics and AI.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dattaraj Vidyasagar shared his vision: “Through this initiative, as we progress into the 21st century, we are confident of nurturing a generation that thinks rationally, innovates in technology, and contributes meaningfully to society.”
The lab has been established with the dedicated efforts and cooperation of RDG Public School Directors Shri Dilipraj Goenka and Shri Saurabh Goenka, who are committed to the holistic development of students. The initiative also draws inspiration from the futuristic technological vision of the late Smt. Madhudevi Goenka.
The success of the event was ensured through the collective efforts of Principal Shri. Kuriyachan C.P., Vice Principal Ms. Shweta Chomwal, and the entire teaching staff of the school.
