With reference to the above subject, I hereby want to state that I read
your article regarding how to register .edu domain in India.
I am also working as an Asst. Professor in Budha Group of Institutions,
Karnal, Haryana. Currently, we have an organizational domain for our
website and were thinking of opting for the educational domain to
increase the traffic and grow further reach of our website.
Regarding the same, I had some queries if only you could help us with
the same?
1. Our institution was established in 2007 as Budha College of Education
and then we added different streams like management, and architecture
and got them registered as Budha College of Management, Budha College of
Higher Education, etc. Since we are thinking of building only one
website, so I wanted to ask while filling out the application form for
the domain, what shall we mention in the Institution name?
2. Our College is registered as a cooperative society and the name and
the address of the society and college are different. So, by which name
shall we apply the form and proofs like address or the legal identity
shall be applied of society or the institution?
We shall be really obliged if you could please help with some of the
issues we were facing.
